Hosting and server logs
This website is served by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. To deliver the page to you, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the page you came from. Cloudflare also uses this data to protect the website against attacks. We do not analyse it ourselves.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a fast, secure and reliable website. We have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare under Art. 28 GDPR. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so transfers to the USA are permitted under Art. 45 GDPR. See the Cloudflare privacy policy for details.
Ride requests via WhatsApp
When you submit the form, your browser opens WhatsApp with a prepared message: pickup, destination, date, time, passengers and, if given, your flight number. We only receive these details, together with your phone number and WhatsApp name, once you send the message in WhatsApp.
We use the details to plan and confirm your ride. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to and performance of the transport contract).
WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. WhatsApp processes its own data, such as who communicates with whom and when. Message content is end to end encrypted. Transfers to the USA are possible; the parent company Meta Platforms, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Contact by phone or email
When you call or write to us, we process your details to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if it concerns a ride, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
We delete enquiries as soon as we no longer need them. We only keep for longer what tax and commercial law require, for example receipts and invoices (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB).
Statistics with Google Analytics
If you agree to statistics in the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded.
Google Analytics records which pages you view and for how long, which website you came from, your device and browser, your approximate location and whether you start a request via WhatsApp or by phone. Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address. Google Signals and advertising features are switched off. The data is deleted after 14 months.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. We have a data processing agreement with Google. Transfers to the USA are possible; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can withdraw your consent at any time in the cookie settings. Address suggestions while typing
When you type at least three characters into the pickup or destination field, we suggest matching addresses. For this, your browser sends the typed text, the page language and your IP address to the Photon service of komoot GmbH, Potsdam, Germany. Photon uses address data from © OpenStreetMap. As long as you do not type anything, no connection is made.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is that you can enter your address quickly and without typos. See the komoot privacy policy for details.
Typeface, film and map
The Google Sans typeface is stored on our server. No connection to Google is made for the typeface.
Our film is also loaded from our own server, and only once you press play. YouTube or other video platforms are not embedded.
The map of our service area is a finished image made from OpenStreetMap data. It loads nothing from other servers.
Links to other providers
The link to our Google reviews opens Google Maps in a new tab. Only then does Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland process your data under its own privacy policy. The same applies to links to WhatsApp.
Save as contact downloads a business card (vCard) with our contact details. No data about you is transmitted.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to
- access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) and erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR),
- withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
A short message by phone, WhatsApp or email is enough. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2 bis 4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany, ldi.nrw.de.
